life is not always colour, its grey at times and thorny too
and at times you are too young to realize the truth of life
and if one doesn't change with time, you tend to get older faster
the Umaid Bhawan at Jodhpur
they say its unlucky to spot this bird called Maina (by us, mere mortals), alone.. they generally are always seen in pair and if not in pair then you better pray that nothing bad happens to you that day
playing with the Squirrel's
I think I do share a special bond with these creatures... they do pose for me and are quite fun to take pictures off.. Now here are two different sets of pictures here. Few taken at Jodhpur and a few right outside my house in Gurgaon..
this one is from my lawn
this little fellow actually ate grains of rice of my hand..and honestly its not possible to feed a squirrel and take its picture at one go

from my Building Terrace_19th April 2011
One fine day, while returning from office, the clouds were shaping up to be beautifully interesting.. It doesn't take a genius to understand that when clouds are in the mood they play with the setting lights of the SUN.. Quickly I grabbed my camera and headed to my 3 floor building terrace... a bit to early for sunset, so shot my back yard.. and here's how it looks....
I live in builder floors, so our terrace's are attached to each other. A smart ass for some reason decided to protect his terrace..from the potential intruders. So what does he do? Build a 3 feet tall boundary with broken glass shards on the edge.. Well it couldn't prevent me from intruding his private terrace, but those broken glass shards definitely gave me some interesting shots...so much so for the 3feet hight boundary and broken glass protection!!
Here are the shots...
The Ying-Yanag balance.. for every bad there is equal amount of good in this world.... for every dark clouds there are equal number of bright clouds...
Enlarge these pics to see its actual beautiful colors..
the good old Ray of Hope's, tearing the clouds...
the silhouette of the resting birds.. before the darkness takes over the glooming light of day...and welcome the dawn of a new Day..

a collEction of ranDom piCs
I have a lawn in front of my house, which i fail to maintain..Result!! Wild grass, wild shrubs and wild flowers. What attracts them.. Insects, bees, birds and butterfly's..
Below are two of the best pics of a Wasp and a pair of fly I could capture..
19th March, 2011, was the night when the moon was suppose to come closest to earth and people feared of disastrous consequences...I dint realize about this special night until I opened the Times of India website that evening. Immediately I went out to have a look and trust me it wasn't disappointing. The only problem were the darn clouds.. So I stayed up late that night, till the skies cleared up. If I remember right it was about 1:30Am, 20th March, 2011. I dint have a tripod, so i took help of my lawn boundary wall's help and here's what i managed..
